We all have emotional selves that operate at the very core of our being. In fact, our emotional selves color everything we think, do, feel, imagine, decide, judge, dream, etc. And they affect every relationship we have, starting with the one with our own selves.

And they do all this whether or not we are aware of it!

That's why it's so important to take care of and nourish our emotional selves. After all, given how important our emotional lives are, surely they deserve our care and attention.  In fact our lives improve dramatically the better we care for our emotional selves.

But how to do it?  How do we even find out what a healthy emotional life looks like, much less take care of it or improve it?
